SITUATIONAL LEADERSHIP II—KEN BLANCHARD ORGANIZATION
Situational leadership is one of the most comprehensive and effective leadership systems in the world. I have used it personally for over 20 years and know the dramatic impact it has on personal and team performance.
I am a certified trainer to use this material that was developed by the Ken Blanchard organization which has excelled for over 25 years in helping companies become more effective.
Situational leadership becomes the foundation and framework that all other leadership and management training modules are built on.
The major goal of the program is to create a common language that is used by all leaders, managers and teams to increase alignment and performance across the board.
Leaders are trained to accurately diagnose the style of leadership that is needed with each person from development through execution on every project.
They are also equipped to shift their leadership style from directive to coaching to supporting and finally to delegation based on the uniqueness of the project and the competence and commitment level of the people involved.
When leaders and team members are communicating clearly and consistently within the framework of a mutual partnership for success good things consistently happen.
LEADING CHANGE
The major reason most organizations fail in dealing with change is they are over managed and under led. Leaders must be able to leverage change as an asset and not a liability with the new realities created by changing technology and competitive globalization.
FIRST THINGS FIRST
The definition of the word priority means that something must take precedence in time or order over something else. Effective leaders are ruthless about identifying what those priorities are and they put systems in place to make sure the most important things are what get done on daily basis.
IMPROVING PERSONAL PRODUCTIVITY
You must learn how to lead yourself before you can ever become effective in leading others. It is critical that you know all the disciplines involved in goal setting and execution but that alone is not enough. What good is accomplished if we only end up getting all the wrong things done faster?
LEADING INNER CIRCLE
Leadership experts agree that the top twenty percent of your leadership team will contribute up to eighty percent to your ultimate success. We must assign our best people to work on our greatest opportunities and not trying to resolve our routine ongoing problems.
LIVING UNDER AUTHORITY
A clear biblical principle is that you must first learn to be under authority before you are qualified to be over others. When you understand how God works through other people then you will never assume responsibility for what He has not called you to do either personally or professionally.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
One of the major mistakes we make as leaders is to assume that our people know what is expected of them on a daily basis and that they have the necessary training to be successful in their areas of responsibility. If we want excellence to be the standard that characterizes performance then we have to be willing to invest resources in helping our most important asset reach their potential.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
A phone call evaluation or personal meeting helps determine your priority needs. Then a strategy would be recommended that could include additional meetings if necessary followed by a training event proposal. The group involved could be a department leadership team, company annual events, national conferences, and a wide variety of church program related ministries. If for any reason you are not satisfied with my performance then you will receive a full refund of any training fees.
